Tournament Fixtures

(Held at Powerleague)

Wednesday 13th January - Year 6 boys multi-school 12:30-3:00

The boys gave 100% in all 3 games they played, unfortunately they didn't make the next round. We are all proud of their efforts!

Wednesday 20th January - Year 5/6 girls multi-school 12:30-3:00

The girls conceded only 2 goals in their 5 matches, however, they failed to convert their chances and ended up not scoring. Having drawn 3 games they narrowly missed the chance of progressing to the semi-finals. They all worked hard for each other and as you can see in the gallery below there was a great team spirit. Well done girls! We're all proud of you.

Wednesday 24th February - Year 5 boys multi-school 12.30-3.00

The boys played 5 matches and only lost 2. they narrowly missed out on getting to the semi-fnals. The team spirit was, as always, fantastic. We were all proud of them.

Wednesday 2nd March - Year 4 boys multi-school 12:30-3:00

Wednesday 16th March - Year 4 Boys multi-school 9:00-12:30

Due to ill health, the boys only had enough players to compete in the tournament. They performed magnificently and won 2 matches and drew the other 2 which meant they topped the group. This meant they automatically went into another tournament (16/3/16) and progressed into the semi-finals. They beat Chalgrove 4-0 and met Kerem (Blue) in the final, losing narrowly 2-1. Well done boys, we're all very proud of you!

Martin Cup Fixtures

Tuesday 9th February -  Year 6 boys v Moss Hall KO 3:45 at Sunnyfields astroturf

Sunnyfields started very strongly, however, when we went 2-0 down we found it hard to get back into the game. Two bright moments were when Mustafa and Omar scored.

League Fixtures

Monday 8th February - Year 6 boys v Courtlands  KO 4:00 at Sunnyfields astroturf

On a very windy evening the boys played their best but came up against a stronger team. Well done to all for giving 100% effort and never giving up!

Final score: Sunnyfields 0 - Courtlands 10

Thursday 3rd March - Year 6 boys v Bell Lane  to be rescheduled

Wednesday 27th April - Sunnyfields v Wessex Gardens KO 4:00 at Astro

An exciting match was played between these 2 schools. Both schools gave 100% and 2 goals from Omar made the score 2-2. Then Amaru made it 3-2 from a near  impossible angle.

Final score Sunnyfields 3- Wessex Gardens 2

Tuesday 3rd May -Sunnyfields v Parkfield KO 4:00 at Astro

Sunnyfields carried on from where they left off against Parkfield on Tuesday. This time they were in complete control from the start and never looked like being in trouble. We eventually won 9-2 but it could have been much more if not for some heroic saves from the Parkfield goalie. Our goalscorers were; Jamie(3), Amaru(3), Mustafa(2, 1 pen) and Esli.

Final score Sunnyfields 9- Parkfield 2

Tournament Fixtures

Tuesday 12th January - Year 6 girls - 3 team tournament

Sunnyfields hosted a league meeting involving 3 other schools: Chalgrove, Parkfield and Colindale. This was most of the girls' first time taking part in a netball match and they were playing against some more experienced players. Unfortunately they didn't win any matches but gave 100% and showed great resilience!

Tuesday 19th January - Year 6 girls - 5 team tournament

The girls lost heavily in their first match and although they didn't win any games, there was an improvement in every game. They really enjoyed the experience of representing Sunnyfields.
